Our Mission
-
College Scholarships
Our club has been able to offer scholarships to West Salem students for many years. In fact, we have given away more than $358,000 since the scholarship program has been offered.
-
Teacher Grants
Our club also offers teachers in West Salem the opportunity to receive a $500 grant toward a special project or program that isn’t usually covered by the school's general fund. This program has been wildly successful with projects ranging from school newspapers to computer technology.

Community Projects
West Salem Rotarians participate in many different projects and some of our favorite community partners are Salem Dream Center, Boys and Girls Club, and Marion Polk Food Share.
Aimee Mendonca
As a long time resident of Salem, Aimee has focused on improving the community through business relationships and volunteering.
She is currently Vice President and Branch Manager of Willamette Valley Bank. Outside of Rotary, she is a Chamber Ambassador at the Salem Chamber of Commerce and volunteer for the Salem Main Street Association.
In her downtime she enjoys the outdoors with her family and competes in 5K races.
